Autumn Proudlove

Autumn Proudlove, is a Senior Manager of Policy Research at the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center (, working on two U.S. Department of Energy projects- the Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency (DSIRE) and the SunShot Solar Outreach Partnership. Autumn's work includes tracking energy policy developments in several New England states, writing original research reports, providing technical assistance to local governments nationwide with implementing policies and programs to reduce solar soft costs, and speaking about solar policy at educational workshops in cities around the country.

"The MERL prepared me extremely well for my work here at the NCCETC and has allowed me to take advantage of many opportunities I wouldn't otherwise have been ready for without the energy policy knowledge base that the MERL provided me with. Colleagues often comment on how much I know about energy at such an early point in my career, and I have to give full credit to the MERL!"
