Vermont Law School will offer limited residential classes during the summer semester and expects to return to normal operations this fall. For information on campus access, health and safety protocols, and testing requirements please visit vermontlaw.edu/covid19.
Vermont Law School's summer semester COVID protocols went into effect May 17, 2021. To be able to access campus you must:
Have signed and submitted a Summer Health Safety Contract (if they haven't already submitted one) to COVID19@vermontlaw.edu. Contracts can be downloaded using the thumbnail-links on this page.
Complete weekly testing for unvaccinated students, faculty, and staff or fully vaccinated students, faculty, and staff who have not yet completed the two-week post vaccine waiting period. For more information about onsite and other testing options, click here. To submit your vaccine information for verification, click here.
Complete a health screening on the CampusClear app, each day they wish to be on campus.
Adhere to Vermont State Guidelines for travel and gatherings.
Follow the VLS Visitor Policy. Visitors are allowed on campus only in adherence with the VLS Visitor Policy, found on the right-hand side of this page.
Follow safety precautions such as wearing masks indoors at all times (if unvaccinated), maintaining social distancing, and washing hands.
Vaccinated VLS students, faculty, and staff are exempt from the testing and masking requirements if they have completed the two-week post-vaccine waiting period and have their vaccination information verified by submitting the COVID19 Vaccine Verification Form. All other Mandatory COVID Health and Safety Protocols still apply. Policies are subject to change, and students, faculty, and staff are responsible for staying up to date on all changes.
Please note, effective August 23, Vermont Law School will require all campus-based faculty, staff, and students to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus unless they qualify for a medical or religious exemption. For more information please visit the COVID FAQ section of the website, linked below.
All students, faculty, and staff will be required to complete a health screening each day they wish to be on campus. This screening will be conducted via the CampusClear app, which can be downloaded from the links below. If you do not have a smart phone, please use the web link.
Once downloaded, the app is extremely user-friendly. You’ll be asked to enter your name and vermontlaw.edu email address to register the first time. You will then be asked to select any symptoms you are experiencing that day, and will receive either a "welcome to campus" message, or notification that you must be tested for COVID-19 before returning to campus.
Please be prepared to show your all-clear message, if asked, once on campus.
