Vermont Law and Graduate School will host “The First U.S.- Asia ‘Green Mountain’ Forum” on Environmental Protection” on September 25, 2023 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST. The purpose of this Forum is to enhance the communication and exchange on environmental law studies between Asia and America, and to promote the cultivation of legal talents with global perspectives. The Forum language is Mandarin. English-Chinese interpretation will be provided.

The Forum will be divided into four sub-forums, including:

• Sub-forum I: Climate Change and Just Transition
• Sub-Forum II: Biodiversity and Community Customary Law
• Sub-Forum III: Sustainability in Science and Law
• Sub-Forum IV: International Environmental Legal Talents Cultivation and Practice

Participants from the U.S. and Asia at different sub-forums will present on the studies of the interested topic, and participate in discussion.
