She teaches animal law, food law, and environmental law courses in the VLS summer residential and year-round distance learning programs. The majority of her scholarship addresses the regulatory and constitutional issues at the intersection of these three areas of the law: industrial animal agriculture. Previously, Vesilind was a visiting assistant professor at VLS (2009-2012) and at the University of Arkansas School of Law (2012-2014), where she earned an LLM in Agricultural & Food Law.
