Prior to that, she held the position of Lawyer Librarian. She has more than 20 years’ experience working in law libraries and teaching legal research. Every fall, she teaches multiple sections of Introduction to Legal Research for first-year students. In the spring, she offers two courses, Advanced Regulatory Research and Advanced Skills for Practice, a course designed to prepare students for conducting research beyond law school. She will also teach JD Public Law in the Spring of 2015. Prior to coming to Vermont Law School in 2007, she served as the Acting Director at the Hugh and Hazel Darling Law Library at the UCLA School of Law, the Reference and Computer Research Librarian at the Franklin Pierce Law Center, and as the Law Librarian at Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster in Boston. She received a BA from Wellesley College, a Masters in Library and Information Science from Simmons College in Boston, and a JD from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now the University of New Hampshire School of Law).
