His courses at Vermont Law School include Constitutional Law, Civil Rights Law, and Federal Courts. From 2009 to 2012, he served as Vermont Law School's vice dean for Academic Affairs.</div><div><br>Professor Kujovich received his BA degree, cum laude, from Middlebury College in 1969 and his JD degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1975. Upon graduating from law school, he clerked for Judge Shirley Hufstedler of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for justices Potter Stewart and Byron White of the U.S. Supreme Court. He then became special assistant to the general counsel in the U.S. Department of Defense from 1977 to 1979. He served as counsel to the White House Intelligence Oversight Board from 1979 to 1980. He then served as assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Education and joined the Vermont Law School faculty in 1981. During the consideration of civil union (same-sex marriage) legislation by the Vermont Legislature, he testified numerous times before the House and Senate Judiciary committees.
