Burlington, VT

Burlington is the largest city in Vermont. It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain at the westernmost edge of the state. It is approximately 45 miles south of Canada and boasts views of the Green Mountains to the east and New York’s Adirondack Mountains across the lake to the west. Burlington is both amazingly beautiful and vibrant. There is so much to see and do from strolling the waterfront park, shopping and dining along Church Street’s pedestrian marketplace, taking in museums, catching some live music or sampling a fine local brew. Burlington International Airport is minutes from Interstate 89 and downtown Burlington. Information, including transportation to/from the airport is here.

By Car:

From Interstate 89 take Exit 14 W into Burlington.

If coming from southwestern Vermont, you can also reach Burlington by following Route 7 north into Burlington.

The Dudley H. Davis Conference Center

The 2018 International Restorative Justice Conference is being held at the University of Vermont’s Dudley H. Davis Conference Center. The Davis Center hosts all manner of academic, community, business, and personal events. The University Event Services and Davis Center Operations team thoughtfully integrates elements of social justice and environmental stewardship throughout their events and facilities. Directions to the Dudley H. Davis Conference Center on the University of Vermont Campus:

From I-89:

From Interstate 89 take Exit 14 W into Burlington. Proceed west on Williston Road/US-2. After the second light exit by veering right onto Beaumont Avenue. Continue on Beaumont Avenue and turn left into the Jeffords parking lot. The Davis Center is to the west down a sidewalk at the end of a horseshoe/oval drive.

From Route 7 North:

Follow Shelburne Road/Route 7 into Burlington. At the rotary, bear right onto South Willard Street/Route 7. Proceed less than a mile to the intersection with Main Street/US-2. Turn right onto Main Street/US-2. Proceed uphill until you reach Spear Street on your right, and turn right onto Spear Street. Take an immediate left and loop around to the light; at the light turn left onto Williston Road/US-2. Proceed on Williston Road/US-2 and after the second light exit by veering right onto Beaumont Avenue. Continue on Beaumont Avenue and turn left into the Jeffords parking lot. The Davis Center is to the west down a sidewalk at the end of a horseshoe/oval drive.
