Biography
Christopher Worth is an immigration attorney presently serving as an assistant visiting professor with the Vermont Law and Graduate School’s Center for Justice Reform Clinic.
Christopher has been practicing immigration law since 2013. Through his practice located in East Quogue, Long Island, Christopher has appeared in immigration courts nationwide, as well as before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and federal district and circuit courts. Christopher has successfully represented clients detained in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities throughout the United States. Prior to entering private practice, Christopher was an immigration staff attorney with My Sisters’ Place, a nonprofit in White Plains, New York, which represents survivors of domestic violence.
Christopher served as a pro bono law clerk to Peter W. Hall, associate justice on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Thereafter, Christopher was a corporate associate with Clifford Chance US LLP, working from their New York and Washington, DC, offices. Christopher earned his juris doctor (JD) from Brooklyn Law School and his bachelor’s degree (BA) from Boston College.
Between college and law school, Christopher lived in Cairo, Egypt, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he learned basic Arabic and produced conferences for road safety and the Islamic finance and insurance industries. Christopher speaks conversational Spanish.
Christopher is co-chair of the Suffolk County (NY) Bar Association’s Immigration Law Committee. He also serves as a drill-status guardsman with the New York Air National Guard at the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach, New York.
