Biography
Kerriann Stout is a lawyer, educator, and academic support professional whose work centers on helping students and professionals communicate clearly, think analytically, and navigate complex public and legal systems. She teaches political science and law-related courses as an adjunct professor at Vermont Law and Graduate School, Fordham University, Pace University, and Baruch College, and has been part of the VLGS online learning program since 2017. Her teaching frequently focuses on public institutions and advocacy, including courses such as Advocating for Change, Leadership and Advocacy, Legislation and Regulation, State and Local Government, American Politics, and Public Policy, as well as core law subjects including Constitutional Law, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, Immigration Law, Family Law, and Introduction to the American Legal System.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Kerriann designs rigorous, practical learning experiences that translate complex material into usable tools for decision-making, public service, and advocacy. She has held academic success leadership roles at multiple law schools, including Pace Law and VLGS, and is the CEO of Vinco, an academic and professional coaching business.
Kerriann earned her JD from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and her BA in Modern Languages and Cultures, with a minor in Political Science, from Pace University. She is currently completing her PhD in Political Science at the CUNY Graduate Center, where her research focuses on public policy and state and local government.
