The Executive Master of Environmental Policy (EMEP) is a 25-credit online executive master's degree providing working professionals with the public policy skills to fight climate and environmental injustice.
The EMEP is an online degree for mid-level professionals with a minimum of three years of relevant experience* who are seeking advanced credentials or a career change. Students gain the core skills needed to shape environmental policy and integrate issues of racial and economic justice into practice and policymaking. Courses include research and writing, policy design, quantitative analysis, environmental justice, and climate change. No GRE or capstone is required.
The list of 20+ electives includes Energy Efficiency Policy, Climate Change Mitigation, and Fundamentals of ESG.
With the first cohort beginning in Summer 2023, the EMEP is an online degree with multiple start dates for the student’s convenience.
Location: Online, optional on-campus Summer Sessions
Credit Requirements: 25 credits
Duration: As little as 16-months, part-time to accommodate the working professional's schedule
