VERMONT LAW SCHOOL ATTRACTS A DIFFERENT KIND OF STUDENT. IT NEEDS A DIFFERENT KIND OF PRESIDENT.

The Vermont Law School Board of Trustees, following an extensive strategic planning process, determined that it is the time to design and create a presidential role for the school. As Vermont Law School embraces its bold new strategic plan, the president will lead the institution in providing rigorous graduate-level law and policy education that responds to the needs of the 21st century.

The Board of Trustees appointed a presidential search committee, co-chaired by Mark Sciarrotta JD’96, Trustee, and Laurie Beyranevand JD’03, Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems. VLS has chosen Spelman Johnson as the school’s external search firm with Ellen Heffernan and Kendra Dane as search partners.
