Each year, Vermont Law School holds the Sterry R. Waterman Lecture.  The series, named in honor of the late senior judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and a former president of the VLS Board of Trustees, highlights the legal issues of the day.

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend this year’s lecture on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 5:30 in Chase Community Center.

Author and intelligence expert Thomas Powers will present “American Secret Intelligence—Do We Know What We’re Doing?”  During the lecture, Powers will cover American secret intelligence from the height of the Cold War to present day, including how intelligence gathering has evolved with the advent of computers and other technology, and the far-reaching implications of those developments.  Powers is a prolific writer on national security issues.

Please mark your calendars and join us in attending this most timely and interesting lecture.
