Biography

Ed graduated from Vermont Law School in 1993 and is currently a partner at Holland & Knight in Nashville, Tennessee. His practice focuses on environmental law, including brownfield redevelopment, solid and hazardous waste permitting and compliance defense, and transactional work. Prior to joining the VLGS Board of Trustees in 2026, Ed served six years on the VLGSAA Board of Directors, including two years as president. Ed served as the committee chair for the Class of 1993’s 25th reunion, and coordinated several events for fellow Nashville-area alumni. He lives in Brentwood, Tennessee, with his wife Melissa (JD’93), and they have two adult children. In his free time, Ed enjoys hiking, mountain and gravel biking, and Nashville’s live music scene.
