​Please join The Women’s Law Group, Alliance and SPEAK! on October 15th for No Vacancy: The Case of Discriminatory Housing, a panel discussion addressing the impact of housing discrimination in the state of Vermont.
WHAT? A housing panel addressing the impact of housing discrimination and disparities experienced by some of Vermont’s most underrepresented populations: survivors of domestic and sexual violence, citizens with disabilities, and individuals who identify as LGBTQ.
WHY? At VLS we are committed to addressing social injustice and using the law to create systemic change in our communities and the world. Join a panel of housing experts to learn about critical fair housing issues and how we, as future attorneys, can help mitigate any barriers to affordable and safe housing.
WHO? Our panelists are experts from various statewide agencies, organizations and VLS:
