Martin and Changala atten the New England Regional Ocean Law and Policy Workshop: Offshore Wind Facility Siting

Brian Martin and Danielle Changala attened the New England Regional Ocean Law and Policy Workshop: Offshore Wind Facility Siting in Newport, Rhode Island. They joined federal and state regulators, as well as academics from several New England law schools and universities, to discuss the regulatory framework for offshore wind farm siting. The workshop (hosted by The Marine Affairs Institute/Rhode Island Sea Grant Legal Program) emphasized the challenges facing regulators and developers, from multi-jurisdictional environmental review redundancies to technological constraints to the specter of private litigation.
