Biography

Mr. Root is an industry advisor for Danovo Energy Solutions (formerly Quanta Technology). He previously served as chief operating officer of the Vermont Electric Transmission Corporation (VELCo) and as senior vice president of Network Strategy, a branch of National Grid. Mr. Root holds a master’s in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard University Graduate School of Business and has authored, co-authored, and presented papers at various forums.
