Jessica Olson is Head of Public Affairs for Topsoe, a Danish clean energy technology company focused on bettering the world through science with an ambitious mission to become a leader in carbon emission reduction technologies like green hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuel.

She has previously served as Vice President, Policy, at CALSTART, leading global advocacy efforts to help shape federal and state policy supporting clean transportation sectors and as an officer of CALSTART's executive team. Prior to that, Olson was Director of Environmental Policy for Honeywell International Inc. In that role, she led successful efforts to organize industry and advocates to drive new greenhouse gas regulatory programs and commitments at U.S. state, federal, and international levels. Previously, Olson was a partner at the Ayres Law Group in Washington, D.C., where her practice included appellate litigation, congressional advocacy, and regulatory advising in the climate and clean air policy space.

Olson holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Science, Technology and Society, with a focus in Environmental Studies from Vassar College and a Juris Doctorate from the Vermont Law School. Olson has previously co-chaired the Air Quality Committee of the DC Bar Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Community and was a 2017 finalist for the MIT C3E Women in Clean Energy Award in the Law and Finance category. Olson is from Arlington, Virginia where she has served as an appointed member of the Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission and lives with her husband and two children.
