Biography

Patrick is an elected alumni representative on the VLS Board of Trustees and concurrently serves on the VLSAA Board of Directors. He served as president of the VLSAA Board for the 2020–21 year, and prior to that, he was heavily involved with the Boston Regional Group, acting as its president and treasurer for several years. Patrick is a Vice President & Assistant General Counsel of Rockland Trust Company, a commercial bank headquartered in Massachusetts with over $20 Billion in assets and a network of 120+ branch and other offices. In his role at Rockland Trust, Patrick supports a wide range of business units focusing on compliance, regulatory and litigation matters. Formerly, Patrick led a regional litigation private practice in Boston, primarily representing banks and financial institutions in disputes in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Patrick lives in Cohasset, Mass., with his wife Diane and black lab Selkie, and has two grown children who live in Colorado and Rhode Island. He has served his community as a member of its Advisory Committee, Conservation Commission and vice-chair of its Master Plan Committee. Patrick is also a graduate of Cornell University and is an avid skier, kayaker, cyclist, and marathon runner.
