Wendy Chen

Biography

Wendy Chen is the Food and Agriculture Fellow at the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems (CAFS). Prior to joining CAFS, Wendy spent seven months working on a farm in Western Massachusetts.

For more than a decade, Wendy practiced employment law in Seattle, Washington. After moving to Southeastern Vermont in 2017, she worked at the Vermont Department of Labor, most recently as an administrative law judge. She is a guardian ad litem with the Vermont Judiciary and serves as hearing panel counsel for the Judiciary’s Professional Responsibility Program.

Wendy has a law degree and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vassar College.
