Biography
Professor Cahill served as a Vermont prosecutor for fifteen years, including as the elected Windsor County State’s Attorney (2016-2020), the Executive Director of the Vermont Department of State’s Attorneys (2014-2016), and as a Deputy State’s Attorney (2005-2014). Professor Cahill instituted Vermont’s first restorative justice program specifically targeted at intimate partner violence. He is also the principal author of the Vermont Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
