International Environmental Law and Policy

About this Course

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of international environmental law and policy. After discussing the history and development of the international legal system regulating the environment, the course focuses on crucial areas of international environmental law areas, such as the legal aspects of climate change mitigation, protection of ecosystems, ocean regulation, as well as the nexus between international trade and the environment.
