This session, “Environmental Liabilities in the Texas Oilfields,” will be presented by Martha Pskowski, VLGS Environmental Law Media Fellow.
Over a century of oil drilling in Texas has left hundreds of thousands of wells and myriad other aging assets. While some oil companies reap record profits, others are unable to fulfill their obligations to retire their assets and clean up environmental damages. Learn about how landowners, advocates, and regulators are responding to the growing crisis.
