Biography

Letícia joins us from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she worked as a lawyer specializing in energy law. She holds a graduate degree in energy business and wrote her thesis on the economic feasibility of solar panel recycling. Letícia has a passion for renewable energy, climate change mitigation, and energy justice. Letícia leads a joint project between VLGS’s Institute for Energy and the Environment (IEE), the Environmental Justice Clinic, and the Brown University School of Public Health, that will craft a template Good Neighbor Agreement for communities in the Southeastern United States impacted by wood pellet manufacturing.
