NCRJ Art Entry #012 - Dismantling Walls - Artist: Marian Liebmann

Layout Builder

Artist Statement:

I was thinking about the steps people have to take in a restorative process, and how we have to move step by step, as the case proceeds, and how every step needs a readjustment of thinking. I thought of a brick wall between people, and imagined that the restorative process is like removing one brick at a time. As people do this, they are more able to see more of the other person and their whole humanity.
