NCRJ Art Entry #004 - Essential Balance - Artists: (multiple)

Layout Builder

Artist Statement:

The image is the representation of the two justices. That is, the traditional one and the "revolutionary" one because it brings quite some changes in our life and in our communities. We represented our (revolutionary) restorative justice with an armless scale to demonstrate that RJ wants a human justice. One can never pay for his/her sins, but can always reconcile with the one harmed/hurt. One of the defects of human beings is their imperfection, but we don't have to be afraid of this "imperfection" and try to improve instead.

Artists: Bourama Diarra, Giulia Villa, Alessia Carboni (Fabrizio De Andrè artistic high school), involved by the Team of Restorative Justice Practices of University of Sassari through Fadoua Choute

Location: Italy
