Covering the most common questions asked about VLGS Summer Session
Show your VLS class pride with a contribution to your reunion class gift: Can we count you in to support Vermont Law School and help your class win the Reunion Giving Challenge?
The reunion class with the highest participation rate in giving (number of gifts/number of alumni in class) will be recognized at the Reunion Award Ceremony and will win a special prize for their whole class.
All gifts received during the current fiscal year will count toward your class's Reunion Giving Challenge totals. Every new gift, cash or pledge, to any fund will count you in.
Alumni participation rates are incredibly important to VLS, and have a direct impact on our finances and mission. Most directly, a robust alumni giving program allows Vermont Law School to offer students competitive financial aid packages, to provide student services, and to attract and retain quality faculty and staff.
In addition, U.S. News & World Report tabulates alumni participation in some of its rankings; and some important donors perceive participation rates as an indicator of alumni satisfaction (which they feel directly correlates to the strength of the degree program).
