​Dr. Todd Jarvis, Assistant Professor, Senior Researcher and Associate Director of the Institute for Water and Watersheds at Oregon State University, will speak about the role of water law in groundwater conflict resolution on February 18 at 5:30PM. Dr. Todd Jarvis has over 30 years of experience as a hydrogeologist specializing in groundwater development and source water protection. Presenting from Oregon, Professor Jarvis will discuss surface water and groundwater boundaries, emerging legal instruments for groundwater and aquifer governance as well as which water negotiation framework is best. His recently published book Contesting Waters: Conflict Resolution for Groundwater and Aquifers will provide the springboard for this talk. His blog is available at the link below.
