The Vermont Journal of Environmental Law will hold its annual symposium on Friday, October 25, 2013. The symposium, "Rising Temps and Emerging Threats: The Intersection of Climate Change and National Security in the 21st Century," will bring together a variety of experts for a day-long discussion on a number of pressing environmental security issues including: the threat of climate change to national security, the military's response to climate change, the impacts of climate-based forced migrations, and food security.
