In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month there will be a free screening of "Unafraid: Voices fro the Crime Victims Treatment Center" at 6:30 this evening. Unafraid explores the impact of rape and the capacity of ordinary individuals to effect change. The film is being shown in the Nina Thomas Classroom, and refreshments will be provided- including pizza. The screening is cosponsored by the Vermont Practice Society, National Lawyers Guild, Women's Law Group, Law Students for Reproductive Justice, and SPEAK.

Following the film, LSRJ will be holding its annual Take Back the Night candle light vigil on the town green. Take Back the Night gives victims of sexual or domestic violence an opportunity to reclaim their voices. We will have representatives from Safeline speaking at the vigil, and we invite all survivors and allies to come share their stories and thoughts, or just come to be part of a safe and supportive space.

Please consider coming out tonight, and be sure to enjoy today's beautiful weather.
