Kevin B. Jones, Ph.D, Smart Grid Project Leader for the Institute for Energy and the Environment participated in a Seminar on Energy and the Environment at Universidad Finis Terrae in Santiago, Chile. The focus of the seminar was to explore options for dealing with the environmental impacts of thermal electric generation in Chile and there were panels on both local and international experience. Kevin participated in the international panel and presented on Experience in Mitigating the Environmental Impacts of Thermal Generation in the US. The seminar was organized by the Finis Terrae Law School in its ongoing efforts to explore interest in developing a specialization on energy and the environment.
