Oakes Hall - Room 007

Vermont's Town Meeting Day has brought residents together for over 200 years. This year, three towns took up measures to urge the Legislature to amend Vermont's Constitution to recognize the "inherent and unalienable rights" of the natural environment of Vermont. This activity in Vermont is part of a growing movement to reflect the rights of nature in law.

This event is part of the Hot Topics 2013 series of events.
