​What is the role of human rights lawyers in UN peacekeeping missions?


Michele Churchley Juma, a Human Rights Officer with the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), will discuss her role and some of the legal issues she encounters in her work this coming Monday in the Applied Human Rights class. She will also share information on job opportunities with the United Nations. She will be skyping in from Goma, in the eastern DRC.
