SUMMARY:13th Annual VLGS Energy Law and Policy Symposium: "Planning During a Turbulent Energy Transition"
DESCRIPTION:The Institute for Energy and the Environment and VLGS Alumni in Energy group are hosting the 13th Annual Energy Law and Policy Symposium\, “Planning During a Turbulent Energy Transition\,” both in person and virtually.  \n\n\n\nHeld during Climate Week NYC\, the symposium will bring together VLGS alumni\, partners\, and supporters for a half-day discussion on the challenges facing the energy transition. This year’s program features expert panels on improving the efficiency of the electric transmission grid\, examining FERC’s evolving approach to natural gas infrastructure approvals\, and implementing New York City’s Local Law 97. The keynote address will examine the challenges and opportunities of meeting New York State’s ambitious climate goals. \n\n\n\nNew York continuing legal education (CLE) credits will be available to symposium attendees.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPresented in partnership with the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).
