Yu Zhuang received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. She pursued B.S. degree in Applied Chemistry at Fudan University before she left her hometown Shanghai in 1994. Before attending law school, she worked as a computer software engineer in Sweden, China, Canada, and the United States. She graduated summa cum laude from Vermont Law School with J.D. degree. Upon graduation, she clerked for the Assignment Judges, the Honorable Vincent J. Grasso and Mary L. Ford, of the Superior Court of New Jersey at Ocean County. In addition, she worked as summer law clerk for the Environmental Appeals Board at EPA and summer legal fellow at the litigation team in Natural Resources Defense Fund. She also spent a semester working as a full-time intern for Judge Michael A. Shipp of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She speaks Chinese and Swedish.
