Gianna joined the U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law in May 2017, eager to support programs that foster effective environmental governance in China and Southeast Asia. While earning her Master’s degree, Gianna focused on conservation finance and collaborative landscape management, exploring how to integrate the value of nature into established decision-making contexts. Prior to graduate school, she was youth program coordinator for the Montana Conservation Corps, and has over seven years of experience in science teaching and curriculum development. Most recently she was legislative intern for the Vermont Natural Resources Council, tracking environmental policy development at the Vermont Statehouse. Born in Thailand, and raised in Singapore, she is happy to participate in projects that impact her childhood home.
