Advanced Environmental Legal Research
About This Class
This one-credit course provides in-depth exposure to the most effective strategies and resources for environmental law research, including specialized information databases, environmental news/updating, administrative law research, legislative history, international environmental legal research, environmental dispute resolution sources, and non-legal environmental research. The course is designed to prepare law students to research well while in law school as well as in practice. Throughout the course students will use the resources and strategies being taught to conduct research on a topic of their choice, which will result in a Research Guide. Final grades will be based on the Research Guide as well as class participation. This class does not last the entire semester, but concludes after ten class sessions.
