About This Class

Advanced Legal Analysis is a three-credit course designed to provide students with the analytical, test-taking, writing, and study skills that are critical to students' success on the bar exam. This is done through an intensive substantive and analytical review of major multistate bar exam subjects. ALA is not a lecture-based class. It is an interactive and writing-intensive course in which students are expected to study independently and complete a minimum of one writing assignment per week. Students, therefore, are expected to commit themselves to the learning process both for themselves and for their classmates with the ultimate goal of first-time bar passage. This course is NOT a substitute for commercial bar preparation courses.Limited enrollment: 25. Method of Evaluation: This is a pass/fail course with no final exam. Final grade is based on students' cumulative performance on weekly homework assignments and attendance. AWR: No.
