Seminar on Law, Neuroscience, and Mental HealthVermont Law School and The University of Vermont present this seminar for Vermont legislators. Focusing on the latest neuroscience, legal, and social policy research on mental illness, the seminar will provide legislators with new information to use for evaluating the state's mental health-related systems, policies and services.

This is a free event. Students and members of the VLS community are welcome to sit in on the informational morning sessions from 9:00 to noon, including the keynote at 9:15 by Mark Heyrman, Professor, University of Chicago Law School, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Creating Mental Health Statute in an Imperfect World" and a panel presentation, "Minds on the Edge--Facing Mental Illness."
