Biography
Jason J. Czarnezki joins Vermont Law School as a Professor of Law. He has held academic appointments at Marquette University Law School, where he directed its environmental law program, and the DePaul University College of Law. Professor Czarnezki endeavors to bring an empirical dimension and understanding of institutional relationships to the examination of environmental and natural resources law and policy. Previously, Professor Czarnezki served as a law clerk to the Honorable D. Brock Hornby of the US District Court for the District of Maine, and as a law clerk for the Bureau of Legal Services at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. His book, Everyday Environmentalism: Law, Nature and Individual Behavior, is forthcoming from Environmental Law Institute Press in 2010. Professor Czarnezki was selected as a J. William Fulbright Scholar in 2009-2010, teaching environmental and natural resources law at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China.
