Sen. Leahy to Receive Achievement Award From Vermont Law SchoolU.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, will receive the 2012 annual Achievement Award from Vermont Law School's Washington, D.C., Alumni Association. The award recognizes organizations and people who have demonstrated outstanding achievements as leaders, catalysts, and educators, particularly in the field of environmental policy. Leahy is being recognized for his continued support of Vermont Law School, the VLS-based U.S.-China Partnership for Environmental Law and the Vermont-based Institute for Sustainable Communities for their promotion of environmental rule of law and advocacy in China.
