Magic Mountain Service Day and Ragamuffin ParadeThe Student Bar Association hosts Octemberfest 2012 in which students, faculty and staff teams participate in a variety of autumn-theme competitions, including the Magic Mountain Service Day and Ragamuffin Parade. Challengers are invited to spend a hour or more helping our campus child care center rake leaves, winterize, organize the toy warehouse that is a second floor room, prep and paint throughout the day. Additionally, the young Magic Mountaineers will walk across VLS's campus in a Ragamuffin Parade at 10:45 a.m. Any team represented to give out candy to the youngsters will win points. 2 points for each team member providing an hour of service (Maximum team win: 20 points); 2 points for each team represented during the Ragamuffin Parade (Maximum team win: 2 points).
