Eck/MacNeely Architects of Boston, with input from a VLS student committee, is designing Vermont Law School's new fitness facility, which will be built on the same site where the current fitness center will be demolished. Construction of the $1.4 million project is slated to start July12 with a groundbreaking ceremony and be completed by January 2013. The 4,100-square foot, two-story facility will have a contemporary, environmentally sustainable design that is compatible with the historic architecture of South Royalton and VLS.
