Vermont Law Review and UNH Law Review host a symposium titled "Constitutional Constraints on State Health Care and Privacy Regulation after Sorrell v. IMS Health". The symposium will be at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. The focus of the symposium will be issues relating to and arising out of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision in Sorrell v. IMS Health and the legal dimensions of privacy and health care regulation. Among these are federalism and health care regulation (including state single-payer systems), privacy regulation, commercial data as speech, and the implications for policy issues ranging from smart-grid deployment to the off-label use of pharmaceuticals.
