Living Downstream Film ShowingLiving Downstream is an eloquent and cinematic documentary film that depicts one pivotal year as Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D, biologist and cancer survivor, travels across North America, working to break the silence about cancer and its environmental links. Several toxicology and cancer research experts make cameo appearances, highlighting their findings on the herbicide atrazine and the industrial compounds polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). As both a personal journey and scientific exploration, Living Downstream, is a powerful reminder of the intimate connection between the health of our bodies and the health of our air, land, and water.
