Vermont Law School's Legal Writing Department welcomes Professor Teresa Godwin Phelps to campus. Professor Phelps is a Professor of Law and the Director of Legal Rhetoric at American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. Professor Phelps' second presentation at VLS, "Developing Strong Poets in Legal Writing," will describe rhetorical techniques used by poets which can help legal writers establish their own voice.
