Save Your Ass Long Ear Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of donkeys and mules in need. By providing educational opportunities that increase awareness of the human/animal bond as well as the specific needs of long ears, Save Your Ass is able to improve the lives of donkeys and mules everywhere.
Northern New England Dog Rescue
Northern New England Dog Rescue (NNEDR) is a group of volunteers dedicated to saving dogs that would otherwise be euthanized from High Kill shelters and finding them permanent, loving homes in New England. NNEDR is a nonprofit corporation registered in the state of Vermont. They are working on obtaining 501(c)(3) statutes. They currently meet their expenses through adoption fees, fundraising events, Lupine sales and donations.
The Lucy MacKenzie Humane Society
Founded in 1915 by local businessman Frank Mackenzie in memory of his wife, Lucy, the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society is one of the oldest continuously operating Humane Societies in the United States. "Lucy Mac," as they're known, is located outside of Woodstock, Vermont.
The Hooved Animal Sanctuary
The Hooved Animal Sanctuary rescues horses that have been neglected or abused. They offer rescued horses for adoption once the horses are healthy again.
