Student Bar Association
A Message from your SBA President - Brian Jones
Whether you are continuing or beginning your law school journey, I wish you prosperity in the upcoming academic year. The Student Bar Association (SBA) stands ready to serve as an integral part of you progression at Vermont Law School.
The SBA fulfills several important roles. First, it allows students opportunities to become actively engaged in our law school community. Second, your SBA endeavors to foster open channels of communication between our school's administration and its students. Most importantly, it strives to identify and effectively represent student's varied needs and expectations. Our agenda is comprised of the ideas and desires that you express.
Likewise, your voice is necessary. I encourage you to participate in student governance. Whether you pursue a position within the SBA, attend meetings, or voice an opinion to your class senator, I challenge you to become involved. The Student Bar Association is your organization. Meaningful representation demands your involvement.
Please contact me or one of your elected representatives if the SBA can be of assistance. Our primary goal is to represent the needs of students. The SBA is comprised of students who are dedicated to that mission. Let us know how we can best achieve that objective.
Warmest regards,
Brian R. Jones '10
President, Student Bar Association
