Continuing MELP/LLM Students

Registration via CampusWeb for Summer 2012 classes will be available beginning April 3. Watch for further information in your VLS email for specific instructions and days and times for online registration. Online registration for Summer classes will remain open throughout the Summer. There are plenty of seats in Summer classes so students should not feel rushed to make their choices and finalize their registration.

Follow these simple steps to register online for Summer 2012.
1. Under the “Summer Schedule and Related Links” tab in the left side Navigation Bar on this page, select Classes Offered to plan the classes you wish to take this summer. This listing includes the dates for each class as well as links to class descriptions.
2. Be careful to select only classes that do not conflict in time with each other. Also, students are advised to register in only one class per term in the Summer with no more than 11 credits in total for the entire Summer since summer classes are very intense and require substantial time investment. Please consult Anne Mansfield or your advisor if you have questions.
3. When you are ready to start registering online, select CampusWeb Online Registration at the bottom of the navigation bar to log in to CampusWeb. You will need your VLS (Novell) username and password and then submit. When you are correctly logged in, you will get a screen that says, “Welcome Your First Name.”
4. From here, you will select “Add Classes” on the left Navigation Bar.
5. At the top, you will need to choose the appropriate term from the drop down box for “Selected Term” and then click Change.

  • Remember there are 6 Summer Terms, each of which requires separate registration on CampusWeb:

Term 1 – 5/29-6/14; Final Exam on Sat., 6/16
Term 2 – 6/18-6/28; Final Exam on Sat., 6/30
Term 3 – 7/9-7/19; Final Exam on Sat., 7/21
Term 4 – 7/23-8/2; Final Exam on Sat., 8/4
4 Week Term – 7/9-8/2; Final Exam on Sat., 8/4
8 Week Friday Term – 6/8-8/3; Final Exam on Sat., 8/4

  • Within each term, you can use the Search screen to select specific attributes or just click the Search button and you will get a complete listing of all classes offered in that term. Please note that any section of a course with an AU suffix is for students who wish to “audit” only. Only choose this section if you do not want to earn credits or a grade for the specific class!
  • To add a class, simply select Add Class in the Action column on the right side of the page beside the appropriate section.
