Installing iPrint Printer Drivers on Windows Systems


Step 3 - Installation of iPrint Printers

Once you have installed the iPrint client you can install the following printer drivers:

  1. Chase Lab 1
  2. Chase Lab 2
  3. Library Lab 1
  4. Library Lab 2
  5. Library Parking lot level
  6. Library Basement level

Step 4 - Driver Configuration

Chase Lab printers:
  1. Click Start, Printers and Faxes.
  2. Right click the printer you wish to configure and select Printing Preferences
    • Windows XP
      1. Click User Authentication/ Account track
      2. Check the Account Track box and enter 9999 in the password field, Dept. name is not required
    • Windows 7
      1. Click Authentication/Account Track
      2. Leave the Department Name blank, and enter 9999 in the Password field
Library printers:
  1. Click start, then Printers and Faxes (Devices and Printers in Windows 7)
  2. Right click the printer you wish to configure and select Printing Preferences
    • Windows XP and Windows 7
      1. Put a check in the box at the lower right column for Black and White Print
      2. Click the Job Handling tab at the top.
      3. Put a check in the box for Login Name at the top right and enter Student in the login field, password is not required
      4. Click Apply at the bottom of the window
      5. Click OK to close the window
