Our Mission

Students

To help prepare students for their professional future by helping them secure summer jobs and internships as well as their first post-VLS job and by teaching students the legal job search process so that they are equipped to navigate their professional careers during and beyond their time at VLS. We fulfill this mission by helping students learn about possible career paths and by helping them prepare the professional documents needed to succeed in a competitive job market. In so doing, we provide a broad range of services, including individual career counseling, interactive panels, online job postings through Symplicity, job and internship fairs, informational handouts, the Alumni Career Advisor Network, and a comprehensive website designed to help current students and alumni achieve success.

We assist alumni with job search-related services, including access to Symplicity, our online job posting service, individual career counseling appointments, and the Alumni Career Advisor Network, which we encourage alumni to join.
